A little less rushing. A little more Italy.

A useful place to start

Questions, answered.

A few things to know about planning with the Notebook.

Where should a first Italy trip begin?

For a week, consider Rome and Florence. With ten days, Venice fits more comfortably. Start with the kind of days you want and count the nights in each base.

Are these booking services?

No. This is an information publication. It does not take reservations, sell tours, or process travel payments.

Are the itineraries fixed packages?

No. They are suggested routes to adapt for your dates, flights, budget, mobility, and interests. Check availability before booking.

Can I travel without a car?

The main-city routes work well as a starting point for rail planning. Rural Tuscany, inland Puglia, and remote accommodation need more detailed transport research.

Where are the current prices and opening hours?

Use official venue and operator links in the guides. The Notebook does not quote live ticket prices, timetables, or availability.

Does the website use tracking?

This version has no analytics, advertising trackers, or newsletter integration. Search runs in your browser and the contact form does not send data.

How do I report an error?

The contact page can prepare a note for you to copy. Delivery is not configured yet, so it does not submit the message to an editor.
