A little less rushing. A little more Italy.

About this publication

A notebook,
not a checklist.

The Italian Notebook brings a sense of place and the practical decisions of travel onto the same page.

What the Notebook is for

A good guide should help you choose, not simply give you more things to add. This publication connects destinations, realistic routes, and everyday questions about transport, accommodation, and food. It is written for independent travellers who value a relaxed pace and want to understand the tradeoffs behind a recommendation.

How the guides are put together

We separate general planning advice from facts that depend on a date or ticket type. Where current arrangements matter, the guide points to an official operator, venue, or tourism authority. We avoid presenting a static page as a live timetable, booking engine, or guarantee of availability. Night allocations and day plans are suggestions to adapt, not promises about what every traveller can comfortably manage.

What you will find here

Six destination guides, three routes for different trip lengths, and a small journal of useful planning articles. Famous sights sit alongside neighbourhood walks and slower days. Accommodation advice focuses on areas and practical needs rather than invented hotel rankings. There are no fabricated first-person travel stories, named local interviews, or reader testimonials.
